Hughenden is the sports ground of Hillhead High School War Memorial Trust, trading as Hillhead Sports Club. Hillhead Sports Club provides facilities for cricket, rugby and tennis and have a Fitness Club, a gym, a restaurant, a bar and spaces for fitness sessions, social events and hospitality.
Who can use the courts?

Times of Play
8am to 10pm. (last booking 9pm)
During the period of Covid-19 restrictions from 8am via the double gates. Open both for social distancing. If the courts are empty when you leave lock the gates with the padlock.
Use your membership card to access the secure ground floor areas.
A FREE service. Members may switch on and off using the controls in the weatherproof cabinet on the clubhouse wall opposite Court One. Follow carefully the “Use of Tennis Floodlights” Guide in the cabinet and please ensure you lock the cabinet after use.
Tennis Courts and Surrounds
Wear suitable shoes. Brush your court after play. Use our litter bins. Our courts are professionally maintained.
The double gates provide ambulance access. Use the padlocks on the other gates to retrieve tennis balls.
Book on the hour up to 2 weeks in advance. The committee pre-books social tennis sessions, league matches, club competitions, coaching sessions and court hires. We try to keep at least one court free for casual tennis. See Online Court Booking. If you change your mind – cancel your booking.
The tennis courts and surrounds are unlicensed areas. You may not consume alcohol there.
Are available for purchase from Cafe Source Too for £5 per tin.
